Tumblarity is gone, or at least for the time being, absent from the dashboard. I could have whipped up a tiny script to hide it, but I’d know it was still there. This odd little metric whose only purpose seemed to be to breed anxiety seems to finally be dead.
Its really strange how a tiny change can have such a huge psychological impact on a community. Suddenly, Tumblr just feels nicer, like less of a rat race, and more of a party.
