I’ve been gone around these parts for too long.

I think I’ll be coming back around this way for a while.

Day one of living without a cell phone:

Today is the first day my puppy hasn’t come to work with me.

He’s not feeling good, at all.

I’m really worried about my pup.

I lost my sunglasses while body surfing ten foot swells.

I have no regrets.

Me? Oh, just hearting some stuff from ages ago.

New stuff is so lame. Old stuff is where it’s totally at.

Right?

Ripped two huge garbage bags, and got locked out once.

SO. MUCH. FUN.

I’m emptying the place we used to live nine months ago.

Alone.

Sigh.

I’m getting pretty excited

about a personal project that’s been in the works for a little while now.

The better half of today has been spent working on a small personal project.

So. Much. Win.

Too much

Resolution time. From some recent conversations about information overload, feeds & social networks, I’ve decided to start aggressively unsubscribing across the board. My rationale:

1. There simply isn’t enough time to consume all the things I’ve followed.
2. I’m no longer satisfied to sift through the noise to find the signal.
3. As a result, I’m missing out on things I want to consume.

The ultimate goal is to shed digital baggage and travel lightly. To some extent, I’ve made changes that have brought me closer to this point. This is a marker in the sand where this decision became fully intentional.
