Why You Should Switch from Subversion to Git
This article on Carsonified explains why GIT is fundamentally better then SVN and why it’s worth the switch.This is definitely something I’d like to start looking into, especially now that jQuery is making the switch as well. If only there was a pretty GUI that handled it.
perhaps not as pretty as some existing svn interfaces, but i’ve found gitx a pretty good solution for browsing git repos.
git is truly best experienced from the command line. I can’t really even begin to imagine a decent visual interface for working with git.
